We are a national television company with experience and knowledge in-house. You are involved in the content of television programs that are produced in Rotterdam. In addition to our office in Rotterdam, we have an office in Antwerp (Belgium). We now only lack a good Sales Manager who can provide professional guidance to our sales team there. They need the guidance of an experienced Sales Manager, who knows what guidance is, and who can provide training and guidance to the sales staff in the field of cold telephone acquisition. We have programs such as Wooninspiraties, Woontrends and Business Tips. These programs will be broadcast on RTL and SBS and even on the Belgian channels VTM 1 & 2 soon.
Working week in Antwerp:
Every week starts with the Monday morning meeting, together with your colleague Sales Manager (in Belgium) you look back on the previous weeks and make a plan for the coming weeks. The Sales Manager charts the commercial course of a company and makes adjustments if necessary. What goals are being set, what is the status of the broadcast schedule, how many minutes still have to be entered in the episodes. What do the figures look like, is the location running on prognosis or not?
You are also in daily conversation with your staff to take them to a higher level. Whether targets are achieved or not, people have to stay challenged, so it’s up to you to be the motivator for the team. One colleague benefits more from one-on-one training, at another moment you address the group collectively to make them aware of what is going on. The atmosphere in the workplace is the most important for the best results. We always say 1 team 1 task, but everyone has their personal target to achieve each month. It is up to you to achieve this in the team.
If joint and personal goals are achieved, this is of course also celebrated. We also have the VRIJMIBO every Friday afternoon.
Your tasks:
- Self Sell; to take an example;
- Support with sales; (in the form of 1-2 pieces)
- Training, coaching and supervising staff;
- Motivate and inspire the staff;
- Revenue guarantee
- Tracking, processing the turnover
- Keeping track of, processing leave and absenteeism;
Profile:
- Minimum of 5 years of cold calling experience;
- Motivational speaker who brings out the best in people;
- team player;
- Available 40 hours a week;
- Preferably experience in managing Sales employees;
- Speaks and writes excellent Dutch;
- HBO work and thinking level.
